About that Bailout for the Automakers…Now Just Wait A Minute

[poll id=”48″]

Dear Congress,

Ah ah ah—before you jump the gun and bailout the auto industry using taxpayer dollars, what you all need to do is make the oil industry to pick up the tab on this one. I mean when you really think about it, the oil industry is intricately connected to the success of the auto industry.

Since the oil industry executives make more money than they know what to do with, perhaps we could channel about one hundred billion dollars of it to the auto makers–approximately a day’s worth of their profits?

Just because Obama was elected to the Presidency doesn’t mean the taxpayers are in a better mood about bailouts. We’re watching and we’ll be voting again–

So can you bring the oil and auto industries to the table and strike one of the closed door deals you are so famous for, releasing the taxpayers from any liability as far as this bailout is concerned?

That’s all for now…

Sincerely,

Jasmyne

If the auto industry goes down my mother could lose her pension, she’s 63 and worked her ass off for GM for 30 years. So I’m for the bailout.
