After receiving a record-setting 12,000 film submissions from filmmakers around the world, Black lesbian filmmaker Tamika Miller ("Sarang Song," "Gift for the Living") has been selected as 1 of 50 semi-finalists chosen by Steven Spielberg to compete in his new series "On the Lot" presented by Mark Burnett and DreamWorks Television.

The winner will receive a one million dollar development deal with DreamWorks!

Tune in and watch Tamika compete in the two "audition round" episodes airing around the world in over 60 countries on Tuesday, May 22nd 9/8c (after American Idol), and Thursday, May 24th 9:30/8:30c on FOX.

Tamika will be judged by actress, author and screenwriter Carrie Fisher ("Star Wars," "Postcards From The Edge"), as well as directors/producers Brett Ratner ("Rush Hour 3," "X-Men 3: The Last Stand"), Garry Marshall ("Georgia Rule," "Princess Diaries," "Pretty Woman") and Jon Avent ("The Starter Wife," "Fried Green Tomatoes," "Risky Business").
