Event Description: California State University, Dominguez Hills and The Home Depot Center Charitable Foundation have teamed up to present the inaugural “Music, Movies and More Symposium”. The unique program will feature three afternoon sessions with professionals from the entertainment industry, including Grammy-award winning audio engineer, studio designer, author and CSUDH Alumni Dave Hampton, DJ Spinderella of Salt-n-Pepa, 38-year music industry veteran, Grammy-nominated Kashif, and Roberto Orci, Screenplay writer and producer, Watchmen, Star Trek, Eagle Eye and Transformers, plus several others.

The free symposium, held from 12 noon to 4:30 p.m. on in the Loker Student Union Ball Room, will introduce college and high school students to some of the most powerful people in the entertainment industry – both on-stage and behind-the-scenes – and educate them on the future of the industry.
