Don’t be too surprised if Senator Hillary Clinton is all smiles after the Democratic National Committee’s Rules and Bylaws Committee meets Saturday in Washington to discuss Florida and Michigan, which broke ranks to hold primaries earlier than party rules allowed.
We already know there is no low too low for the Clinton’s. And if for some reason you refuse to believe that, you can’t ignore the forewarning of Hillary’s superdelegates like Diane Watson, who made it perfectly clear that there will be a backroom meeting at the Convention in August.
It’s already been worked out and we’re the fools.
CNN.com is already reporting that “the Democratic Party is likely to meet rule-breaking Florida and Michigan halfway when it comes to seating their delegates at the national convention…”
Citing their sources as two members of the rules committee.
So please prepare yourself now for the inevitable.
I am convinced that that there are “people” who don’t want to see Sen. Barack Obama as the nominee for the Democratic Party and most certainly don’t want to see him as our President. So much so that the Democratic Party, the Party of most Black Americans is about to bend over backward to accommodate one person and her fan club. But somehow, I don’t believe that if the shoe were on the other foot Clinton would be pushing so hard to get Florida and Michigan counted. This isn’t about two states’ voters being disenfranchised, it’s about throwing Clinton a lifeline so that she can carry this thing all the way to the Convention where her cronies will take it from there to the backroom. Keep it real.
From the get go this was done all wrong.
Don’t tell me to vote and then punish me because I do.
