As my last official duty as a board member for the National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC), I will be participating in the launch of NBJC’s Power of Us Campaign in Los Angeles this weekend.
NBJC’s new national campaign the Power of Us designed to display positive and uplifting messages and images that embrace, celebrate, and promote the talent, brilliance, and contributions, that Black SGL/LGBT people are making in America.
The National Black Justice Coalition is a civil rights organization dedicated to empowering Black same-gender-loving, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people. The Coalition works with our communities and our allies for social justice, equality, and an end to racism and homophobia.
The event is planned to take place at a private home on Sunday, July 22 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. If you’re interested in attending, please call (202) 349-3755 or email email@example.com.
