ICYMI: LAPD Chief Beck Speaks to Black Los Angeles

In case you missed it, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck was on Southern California’s early morning communication’s drum the Front Page with Dominique DiPrima on Radio Free 102.3 KJLH Thursday, June 26.  Up for discussion was Christopher Dorner, South L.A. crime, Beck’s reappointment, Detective Frank Lyga and Lygagate, racism against Black police officers by the LAPD, and re-opening the investigation into the death of Black police officer Kevin Gaines.  Beck’s appearance follows heavy criticism of the department on Tuesday’s show which featured former LAPD chief Bernard Parks, current Sgt. Wayne Guillory, retired officer Carl McGill, and attorney Brian Dunn.
