It’s All About Jada Pinkett Smith in The Women

Alright ladies. Today is the opening of The Women, starring Jada Pinkett alongside of Meg Ryan, Eva Mendes, Annette Bening, Debra Messing, Bette Midler, Candice Bergen, and Carrie Fisher.

The Women is written and directed by Diane English and is an updated adaptation of the 1939 George Cukor-directed film of the same name, which was based on the 1936 play by Clare Boothe Luce.

In the new version of this film, the character of Jada’s character Alex Fisher is openly lesbian, so this I have to see!

The Women opens in theaters nationwide today.

I kind of wanted to see it but “The Family That Preys Together” trumped that. More of us as a people were represented in it.

  • This should be an easy role for her to play considering back in da day she did dabble a bit herself. Playing the role of a lesbian should be second nature. Fact not fiction.

I saw the last part of the movie because I saw the family that preys together. I like most of the women in this movie so i will see all of it. Tyler Perry has another winner.
