So good news.  One of our favorite actresses Skyler Cooper (and a Lesbian I Love) has moved from San Francisco to Los Angeles and right into my neck of the woods.  Yey!  So as part of “get to know Los Angeles week” Skyler and I did Runyon Canyon and yesterday we had the ceremonial breaking of the bread over lunch at the Vegan Village Cafe on Pico.  Ricky, the chef, out did himself as always!

Oh and incidentally, Skyler already had her first encounter being mistaken for man.  It was at the Olympic Day Spa over on Olympic and Crenshaw where she went to get a facial.  Seriously, welcome to L.A. Skyler, lol.  But it’s all good, they’ll learn.

Ladies (and gents) Skyler’s an actress, but she is also a personal trainer.  If you’re interested in hooking up with her for some personal training, you can hit her up at Sky Body Fitness.

Skyler is getting ready to start filming Cheryl Dunye’s new feature film THE OWLS, an experimental thriller about four older-wiser-lesbians who accidentally kill a young lesbian and try to get away with it. The film is an homage to dark sixties psychological dramas where lesbians often die in the end: The Fox, Killing of Sister George, Muriel, the work of Patricia Highsmith.

Congrats Skyler and welcome to my hood 🙂
