Cancel the viewing parties. Rappers Kanye West and 50 Cent will not debate each other on BET’s “106 & Park.”  Awww man.  Just when I thought we were going to finally here some real answers to the issues plaguing Americans, like whose album is going to sell more millions, Kanye has to go and turn down 50’s offer.  Damn man.  I guess I better cancel that popcorn machine I ordered.

But on the real, Kanye is calling the whole idea ridiculous.

"What am I going to debate about? I’m going to go in the studio and make music,” he said Tuesday at the MTV Video Music Nominations. “When I heard that thing about the debate, I thought that was the stupidest thing. When my albums drops and 50’s album drops, you’re gonna get a lot of good music at the same time."

That’s it, take the high road brotha cause at the end of the day, both of you have more money than most Americans will ever see.  So what does it really matter whose album sells more copies?  Besides, how can you factor in the bootleg copies that are already being sold on the street?  There’s no real way to know for sure.
