L.A. Black Pride Announces Call for Entertainers

It’s that time again soon..Los Angeles Black Pride is coming June 30-July 4.

For all my singers, rappers, and the like, if you’ve got talent and want to put on display—listen up!

Los Angeles Black Pride (LABP) has announced its call for entertainers to participate in its 23rd Annual Black Pride celebration.  This year’s planning committee is seeking performers and DJs for their 2011 celebration taking place June 30-July 4 in Los Angeles.  Entertainers and DJs interested in performing at Los Angeles Black Pride may go to www.myblackpridela.com/entsubmission and submit their information to be considered. Performers and DJs will be asked to submit descriptions of their acts, website URLs, or other promotional materials to be considered by the committee. The committee will select performers based on type of act, performance quality and audience appeal. The deadline to apply to be a Pride entertainer is May 1. Known for their annual Beach Party Unity Celebration held at Point Dume State Beach in Malibu, Los Angeles’ Black Pride celebration brings together thousands of Black lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders from all over the country to Los Angeles in celebration of being both Black and gay for a week of activities.  For more information, please visit www.myblackpridela.com.
