Now really, I don’t give a damn about Miley Cyrus. Let’s get that straight from the beginning. For those type of stories you can check out those other blogs.
But I did find it interesting, albeit annoying, that the lead entertainment story this morning centered around this white 15-year-old girl who plays Disney’s Hannah Montana apologizing ahead of appearing semi-naked in the next issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
Cyrus said she was “embarrassed” after seeing the images taken by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.
And yes, that would be the same Leibovitz that took the horrible April cover photo for Vogue which portrayed LeBron James with his mouth wide open and teeth exposed holding a trophy, so to speak and had the image being compared as the modern day interpretation of LeBron James as “King Kong” and Giselle Bundchen as “Fay Wray.”
There was no apology or feelings of embarrassment from LeBron James on how he came off being portrayed.
I don’t know if Miley Cyrus knew what she was doing how she’d come off looking when she posed for those photos, but that Leibovitz, in my opinion, isn’t to be trusted.
There wasn’t an outcry regarding a Black basketball players image being tarnished, but you best believe there will be one over Miley Cyrus.
