There’s so much I could say about Amber Sharp

I first met Amber several years ago when she interned on “Noah’s Arc.”  She was Patrik’s assistant and we pretty much hit it off from there become friends.  From there, I started looking out for her and trying to support her in her own ambitions of being a filmmaker.  Amber did just that when she debuted with her film “Triple Minority.”  “Triple Minority” is a short film about a woman who had to make a decision between her family and the love of her life and in the end choose love.  From there, Amber told me that she was going to work on creating a real series that was reflective of the lesbian community that she knew.  I made a promise to Amber that when she was ready, I’d be there to support her in anyway that I could, and you know what, she actually did it.  With the support of her partner Seema, Amber has created the new series “Don’t Go” which is premiering this weekend in Los Angeles (for my Angelinos.)  It’s an intriguing look into the lives of a group of friends living in an apartment in Los Angeles.

But Amber isn’t resting on her laurels, she’s now out in the streets hustling support for her new series and hoping to take her act on the road to film festivals around the country and hopefully to a network near you.

Amber is what I call, "as sweet as pudding pie."  She’s just an all around cool friend to have in your life and she’s a comedian too.  Don’t let the look of innocence fool ya, lol.

Because of Amber’s dedication and hard work in putting this new series together and in honor of it’s World Premiere this weekend in Los Angeles, Amber Sharp is this week’s Lesbian I Love.  Congrats Amber et all!!!
