Michael Richardson, Father of Mitrice Richardson to Appear on
Radio Free 102.3 KJLH’s Front Page to Ask Public to
Not Jump to Conclusions About Remains Found in Malibu

Wednesday, August 11, 5:15 A.M. – 6 A.M., 102.3 FM, www.kjlhradio.com

Above NBC’s award-winning reporter Beverly White listens closely outside
of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office as Michael Richardson
tells the media that he believes that his daughter is alive.

Latice Sutton, mother of 25 year-old Mitrice Richardson who has been missing for nearly a year now after the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department released her in the middle of the night without her car, cellphone, or purse, held a press conference on Tues. evening in downtown Los Angeles in front of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office to plead for authorities to contact her directly regarding the skeletal remains found Monday afternoon in Malibu Canyon of a woman.

This after unconfirmed reports started surfacing in the media and on blogs that the woman’s clothing also found near the scene, matched the clothing Mitrice was last seen wearing before she disappeared.

“I shouldn’t have to hear about my daughter’s case in the news and from the media,” she said filled with emotion and grief over the thought that her daughter could have possibly been identified as the remains found on Mon. by authorities.

Latice Sutton makes a public plea to authorities to talk to her.

Latice, also took a shot at the media, in particular bloggers who had reported that she had stopped looking for her daughter and wanted her daughter to be dead.

Michael Richardson, Mitrice’s father, was also there and told the media that he believes that his daughter is in Las Vegas and as far he is concerned that’s where all efforts should be focused.

“My daughter is not in there,” said Mr. Richardson speaking in front of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.  “I saw my daughter in January in Las Vegas along with 80 other people who recently saw her there.  That’s where Mitrice is.  She’s not the person found in the Malibu Canyon .”

Neither the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department nor the Coroner’s office have made any announcements regarding a possible id of the remains.

Tomorrow, August 11, 2010, Michael Richardson, will appear on Black Los Angeles’ early morning communications’ drum the award-winning Front Page to ask the public to not jump to conclusions about unconfirmed reports that the remains found in Malibu on Mon. are that of his missing 25 year-old daughter Mitrice.  Mr. Richardson will also take calls live on the air from the public about the latest developments in his daughter’s disappearance as well as the lack of communication from the Sheriff’s Department and Coroner’s office.
