Okay now let me get this straight.

We can’t drag our asses to go and vote on issues that directly have an impact on our lives but we can wager bets online on two rappers and which one’s album is going to sell more.

Allhiphop.com is reporting that Rapper 50 Cent has accepted a challenge to face fellow MC Kanye West in a live televised presidential-style debate that would determine whose forthcoming album  is the hottest.  Both rappers albums are set to drop on September 11.

"I accept the challenge," 50 Cent said on the show. "Kanye, he’s not going to want to show up. Just don’t be asking me if I am a conscious rapper. I know exactly what I am saying – so I am conscious."

The rappers would face off on BET’s “106 & Park” over which of their albums is better produced. Fans wagering on gaming site Bodog.com are picking 50 Cent to outsell West 180 to 140, and have also bet that “Curtis” will debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

How about placing on bet on whether or not Social Security will around by the time you’re old enough to collect it?

As I said before, we could do better, but we won’t.
