Check out National Public Radio’s News & Notes with Farai Chideya tomorrow Tuesday, November 14.  During tomorrow’s segment, I will be featured along with Saundra Toby-Heath and Alicia Heath-Toby – the Black lesbian couple that was among the seven gay couples who filed the suit in New Jersey and won.

I’ll be discussing the African-American community and gay marriage, Blacks in the gay civil rights movement and last week’s election results where seven of eight states voted to ban gay marriage.  Saundra and Alicia will be discussing what the New Jersey decision meant for them from a personal point of view.

From newsmakers to performers, health to finance, News & Notes explores fascinating issues and people from an African American perspective.  The one-hour daily program is hosted by well-known broadcast and digital media journalist Farai Chideya.
