Superiority Complex

  1. An exaggerated feeling of being superior to others.
  2. A psychological defense mechanism in which a person’s feelings of superiority counter or conceal his or her feelings of inferiority.
  3. An inflated estimate of one’s own merit or importance.

What do you think would happen if the San Antonio Spurs got suited and showed up for the first game of the NBA Finals between the Lakers and the Boston Celtics and said that after much consideration and even though the Lakers beat them 4 to 1, that they weren’t dropping out of the playoffs…just yet? They’d get bounced off the damn court and out of the building that’s what.

But alas, the rules just don’t apply to some of us.

Enter Hillary “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going, I’m Stayin’, and You’re Gonna Love Me” Clinton.

Now even though Barack Obama has secured the number of delegates needed to assure him the Democratic nomination for President, that still isn’t enough to satisfy the Clinton camp.

And we all know, had it been the other way around, Obama would have been pressured into conceding right away.

But the rules don’t apply in this case because for some it’s just too hard to believe that Obama, a Black man, beat Clinton for the nomination.

And it’s this crazy rationale that keeps Clinton in a race that is already over. It’s over.

Cry, scream, throw an angry racist tirade of a tantrum in a hotel lobby for all I care, but accept the fact that it’s over.

Quite frankly, Clinton announcing that she’s staying in the race only lends credence to what Father Michael Pfleger said in his infamous sermon last Sunday at Trinity.

I’m Bill’s wife, I’m white, and this is mine! I just gotta get up and step into the plate.’…I’m white! I’m entitled! There’s a black man stealing my show!’

In other words, we are witnessing Hillary’s “white superiority complex” at its finest.

It wasn’t that long ago that Hillary told the American voters that she was going to stay in the race until there was a nominee, this despite the fact that she didn’t have a chance in hell at getting the number of delegates needs to clinch the nomination.

Well that moment came when one of her own delegates, California Rep. Maxine Waters saw the light of day and jumped shipped over to Barack’s camp.

It’s been several hours since then and still no concession.

Add to that, it wasn’t that long ago Clinton’s “complex” had her trying to offer Obama the position of No. 2.

Today, her “complex,” having somewhat conceded that Obama’s got the top spot, has her trying to bully her way into the No. 2 spot by using her supporters as leverage—alleged Democrats who support Clinton but vow that if Obama is the nominee that they’ll either refrain from voting or vote for McCain.

Clinton and her “complex” make Tanya Harding look like an angel when it comes to the queen of sore losers.

This woman is just determined to get back into the White House, by hook or by crook.

If I were Obama, I’d be suspicious of Clinton’s sudden turnabout as it relates to the office of the Vice-President.

And I quote…

The Vice President of the United States is the first person in the presidential line of succession, becoming the new President of the United States upon the death, resignation, or removal of the president.

I’m just sayin’.

I say it’s time to move on.

Obama needs to file for an official restraining order against Hillary “I’m A Stalker” Clinton (cause it’s clear that she has no plans of leaving him or Michelle alone), and while he’s at the court house he needs to file an additional restraining order against that deranged lunatic of a husband of hers…and we need to get to looking towards November.

Now run and go and tell that!
