On March 1, the news was that Southern California’s Metropolitan Water District had won the 18th annual Berkeley Springs International Water Testing.

Now we know why.

Today the Associated Press is reporting that  antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans, including in Southern California.

Reminds me of how we’re always commenting, “there’s something in the water,” when we refer to the rate of development for young girls to the point where 10 and 11 year olds are fully developed (breasts) and look more like they’re 18 or 19 years old.

I think it’s fair now to say that we may be on to something…
