Tom_joynerWell it’s official.  Los Angeles urban radio will yet undergo yet another dramatic change.

It hasn’t even been six months since the syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show replaced former NBA star John Salley in the a.m. drive-time slot on KKBT-FM (100.3 The Beat), but it’s been announced that today will be Tom Joyner’s last show in Los Angeles.

No official replacement has been named for the number one slot at the station, but there are loud rumors that Cliff Winston, who recently quit working for Stevie Wonder’s station KJLH 102.3, is slated to fill the spot.

It also looks like “The Beat” will no longer be either.  Seems like “Magic 100.3” will be the stations new name.

Radio One owns KKBT.
