…is what I said to myself after a recent incident involving shots fired in my neighborhood where I guess everyone thought someone else called the police–or they called the police and no one showed up. Oh and for those who don’t get the ‘wait for it’ that’s the time in between the gun shots and the ghettobird and sirens that indicate the police are on the job.  I can never assume that everyone gets it–you know.

Anyway, I’m  just wondering, is it my neighborhood or what?  I mean I expect better now since we’ve had so many–um–new people move in (a.k.a. gentrification).

Tell me, what’s the deal with police response time in your neck of the da woods?
