Wesley Snipes, right, enters federal court with his attorneys today. Snipes was acquitted in February of five counts including felony fraud and conspiracy charges, and convicted of three lesser charges.

Let that be a lesson to all of you. The Man don’t care who you are, if you don’t pay your taxes, your ass is not going to jail, you’re going to prison.

Our beloved actor Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison Thursday for failing to file income tax returns for three years.

U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges handed out the maximum penalty under law.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Snipes was found guilty of the misdemeanors in February but acquitted of five other charges, including two felonies of tax fraud and conspiracy. The convictions for failing to file returns covered the years 1999 to 2001.

Now me personally, I don’t think that Black people should be paying taxes period. If you want to talk about reparations, we could start with eliminating taxes for African-Americans. I figure given all of the labor that our ancestors were forced to give, that’s the least the American government can do. But that’s just my opinion.

Can we get some Free Wesley t-shirts out on the corner by Saturday? I’ll buy one. Holla!

Now, what do you think my chances are of getting this U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges out to Chicago to hear the upcoming trial of the century featuring R. “I Like Em’ Young” Kelly?

Seems this judge has no problem handing out the maximum sentence and that’s exactly what we need for Mr. Kelly whose case is finally about to be heard.

Now that’s who needs the book thrown at him.

I’m just sayin…
